Eric King.com
Eric was born 11th October 1996 at Homerton
in East London. He was a tiny little thing, only 5lbs.
He spent his first year in a basement flat in Shoreditch with
regular visits to Daddy's place at Colindale on the edge of town. At 18 months he moved there permanently, eventually transferring
to his present home on the fringes of Epping Forest in the East End of London. Is he going to be a 'diamond geezer' or an
'Essex Boy'? Only time will tell.
From a little baldie Alan Shearer lookalike Eric was transformed as his hair grew.
His trademark corkscrew blond hair made him easy to find when he ran off in Tescos or Palma Airport, Mallorca.
Soon
after his third birthday his baby curls were cropped. No longer quite so blond, Eric looked like a boy, now instead of a toddler.
He still carried on the football theme, though. From Alan Shearer via Henrik Larsen to Ole. Yes, E4 was now home to the
'baby-faced assassin'!
Another year and Eric's hair was 'big' again. Starting
school meant that a more macho look was needed for our boy as he got involved in the playground pecking order. The world cup
has seen him take a strong interest in football. His shirt tugging and ankle tapping is second to none. He could grow up to
be a combative midfielder but as he was born in October he has to be a stylish but imposing 'libero'.
